WHO WE ARE
WOMan Radio is a digital radio station founded by Ms Yvonne Chaka-Chaka in 2019. The radio station commenced broadcasting in October 2020.
Ms Chaka-Chaka – a reputable singer, actress, a humanitarian with impeccable credentials and Princess of Africa – was on a quest for social justice for women and girls. After years of travelling around the world and meeting different people, looking for ways where she contribute further to society – a thought to open a radio station was borne, a radio station for women, by women, with women.

To empower women and young girls across every aspect of radio broadcasting, in South Africa and Africa at large.
OUR MISSION
To train and develop women and young girls of South Africa and Africa to obtain opportunities in the digital radio broadcast industry.
